Katrina Harper has been a Kankakee Valley REMC member-consumer for 23 years. She resides in North Judson with her husband, daughter and two sons. Harper was elected to the board of directors for KV REMC in 2021.
Harper received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education from Purdue University. She taught at North Judson San Pierre School for over 20 years and currently teaches at Winamac Community Middle School.
In her free time, she enjoys crafting, gardening, sports, taking the pups for walks and spending time with family and friends. She enjoys attending local events to support family and the community.
Harper has served as the North Judson Soccer League founder, coach and treasurer, a Delta Kappa Gamma teachers’ association member, Relay Recess organizer, a basketball coach of various ages and teams, and held multiple positions within the school.
Harper’s commitment to continuous education is evident through her achievement of the Credentialed Cooperative Director certificate from the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.
